Wireless Service RV Accessory Options Now Available Through Passport America, WiFiRV

(PRWEB) October 24, 2007 -- Passport America and WiFiRV are proud to announce they have teamed up to strengthen RV accessory (www.WiFiRV.com) options within the wireless service sector.

A recent survey found most RVers prefer a WiFi amenity more than a swimming pool. As a result of this demand, Passport America (http://www.Passport-America.com) entered into an alliance with WiFiRV to help its members get wireless service (www.WiFiRV.com) access wherever they go. Ray Fernandez, Passport America owner, represents 140,000 members and 1,300 campground owners through his 50% camping club. As a campground owner who originally spent a lot of money on advertising to attract guests, he knows the value of RV accessory amenities like WiFi.

He spent nearly two years looking for a wireless service company to partner with and says, "Many WiFi providers are going out of business because they don't understand the industry. Most WiFi companies charge large up-front fees, install unreliable technology, and leave the risks in park owner's hands."

He was pleased to find through personal experience that WiFiRV has resolved how to address these issues.

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) reports that RV sales are the best they have been in 30 years. RV owning households will rise to 8.5 million by 2010 and with more than 16,000 campgrounds nationwide, it's pretty clear that WiFi technology is here to stay. Passport America partnered with WiFiRV (http://www.WiFiRV.com) because they have a business model that works.

"WiFiRV invests in the parks instead of takes from them," says Ray Fernandez.

Property owners in most hospitality sectors are commonly paid for right of access to their guests, but the RV industry hasn't been operating like that until WiFiRV came along and started showing RV resort owners their program, and the need for WiFi RV accessory (www.WiFiRV.com) options.

"If a WiFi provider cannot demonstrate long-term commitment or staying power, then the amenity won't get upgraded and that causes all sorts of headaches my members don't want," states Ray Fernandez.

Barbara Cournoyer, Manager of Whispering Palms RV Resort, was one of the first Passport America resorts to sign up for the RV accessory program. "Our corporate headquarters put WiFiRV through a rigorous financial due diligence to determine solvency and staying power," she says. "Quickly we found out that this 'little known' wireless service provider actually is a division of a large and established corporation that has been in operation since 2002. It's just as WiFiRV says, the amenity generates profits instead of bills."

John Borg II, founder of WiFiRV, said, "We co-developed a program with Passport America that invests in the success of our partner locations. Our team of nationwide installers and 24x7 support staff are working with Passport America staff to inform member parks about our WiFi programs and to ensure trouble-free operation of existing installations."

RV Resorts Remain Solid Investment Despite Economic Downturn
With news headlines sounding alarms like, "Joblessness on the Rise," "Mortgage Crisis Unfolds," "Record-Breaking Oil Prices," and "Recession Looms," one could easily assume that the U.S. economy is in for a dramatic downward spiral. Just as with other stories in the news, however, reality is much more subtle than the headlines. Although the short-term outlook for much of the economy is bleak, not every sector will suffer. "Even though we've seen some dramatic economic shifts particularly in the real estate market RV resorts and manufactured home communities continue to be sound investments," says Leon D.
